Founded by Stefania Indelicato, Ambersouk is a jewellery practice shaped by memory, migration, and material histories. Working with ancient amber, ebony, antique coral, trade beads, gold, and coloured gemstones, Stefania creates one-of-a-kind pieces that honour the stories and origins carried within each material.

Born in Eritrea and raised in Sudan, her early experiences in the Souk of Omdurman shaped an intuitive, discovery-led approach in which finding precedes design. Now based in London, her practice reflects an ongoing dialogue between roots and routes, heritage and movement.

Presented as part of Of Roots and Routes, Ambersouk unfolds as a sensorial installation exploring memory, diaspora, and transformation through material and form. A single golden thread runs throughout the installation ~ a metaphor for continuity, remembrance, and the journeys carried across geographies.
